"Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga (ignore the annoying music preview in the beginning)

WEB WATCH: Most Ridiculous Music Videos
I've seen a lot of music videos in my life that can be classified as somewhat extending their artistic limitations, but these two music videos, although I like both the songs, have got me thinking that the director ate too many hash brownies before showing up to set.
BEAT OF THE WEEK: "Lady Sovereign"
Whether you care for Lady Sovereign or not, she still manages to captivate audiences with her cheeky attitude and her defiant behavior. Who doesn't find a cute little girl who raps with a doesn't-give-a-shit tone utterly irresistible? In her earlier album, "Public Warning", Lady Sovereign, or the "S-O-V" as she calls herself, broke out with such popular songs like "Love Me Or Hate Me" and "Tango". Now with her newest album, "Jigsaw" she has adapted a new style that flirts with hip-hop, dance, and rap. "Bang Bang" is definitely reminiscent of former Lady Sovereign, but "So Human" really opens up a whole new chapter as to what Lady Sovereign is capable of doing, which is toning down her crazy chick exterior (she even got rid of her famous sideways ponytail) to create a more versatile tone that welcomes lovers of pop and rap, and everything in between.
My personal favorites:
"Tango"
"Bang Bang"
"I Got You Dancing"

Et tu, YouTube?: Antony and the Johnsons
It might just be me, but something about a creepy middle-aged man singing a Beyoncé song makes it THAT much more agreeable to me. Listen and then you be the judge. Pure and simple, Antony is as much of a genius as he is ... unsettling.

Blah Blah Blog: ParisDailyPhoto
It's roughly a month until I make my way over to the City of Lights, and thus naturally that has been the dominant thought on my mind. Paris this, Paris that; it's like having 14-year old infatuations all over again... All I can think of is living the culture and the lifestyle of a typical Parisian, and seeing what the City of Love truly has to offer to someone wandering its streets on foot, or rather sitting in a bistro having a café noisette.
So in order to stave off my Parisian cravings, I've been looking at this blog, ParisDailyPhoto, to just give me anything to put me in the mood, moment, or mentality of the city.
Even if you don't like Paris, the photography is pretty nice ... but who doesn't like Paris? Quelqu'un très stupide, on suppose !
